Challenge: For my final semester in college, I was tasked with creating an art show to be showcased and presented during the annual BFA exhibitions.
Description: #representasian revolves around my Korean American identity and showing true representations of both the good and the bad. The show includes graphic design such as typography, illustrations, motion graphics, and package design.

Client: Student Project
Challenge: The project was to create Instagram ads for a made up business while focusing on typography and imagery. An additional challenge was being limited to 2 colors.
Description: The solution were ads created for a fashion business. Bright purples and pinks were used to garner attention along with flashy typography. The photography was carefully chosen to represent the brand while fitting with the composition.

Kafe Kandinsky Branding
Fall 2021
Client: Student Project
Challenge: The goal was to build a cafe brand with the influence of an important figure of our choosing. It was important to have consistency in the design that can be used in small to big materials.
Description: The solution was a cafe inspired by Wassily Kandinsky, who was an abstract artist. His paintings influenced the abstract elements, fonts, color palette, and logo designs.

Client: Student Project
Challenge: The project was to create streaming or television bumpers that would be played in a sequential order.
Description: This led to the creation of bumpers that promoted Korean tourism. Since it’s important to capture people’s attention, the bumpers utilize bold sans serif fonts and exciting kinetic typography that correlates to the background video.
